General Warranty Information

The limited warranty set forth below is given with respect to certain PowerKeep LED lighting products (“Product”). When delivered in new condition and in its original package, the Product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) to five (5) years (depending upon product type; see package) from the original date of purchase, based on three (3) hours of use per day. Defective Products should be returned to PowerKeep. Contact PowerKeep to obtain return authorization. Once returned product is proven defective upon inspection by PowerKeep, product will be repaired or exchanged as determined by PowerKeep. If PowerKeep chooses to replace the Product and is not able to do so because it has been discontinued or is not available, PowerKeep may replace it with a comparable product. PowerKeep reserves the right to use new, reconditioned, refurbished, repaired or remanufactured products or parts in the repair or replacement of any Product covered by this limited warranty.

This limited warranty covers all defects encountered in normal and recommended use of the product and does not apply to cases below:

  1. Loss or damage to the product due to any acts of God, abuse, misuse, abnormal use, mishandling, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuation, neglect, failure to follow operating, maintenance or environmental instructions prescribed by PowerKeep. See Caution and Warning notices in or on the product packaging.
  2. Warranty is void if product is not used for the intention which product was manufactured.

This limited warranty is subject to the following additional conditions:

  1. The Products have been properly handled, stored, wired, transported, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the applicable Specifications.
  2. The Product has been purchased directly from an authorized PowerKeep distributor/dealer for use in regions that are within the jurisdiction of the United States or Canada.
  3. If applicable, purchase receipt for the Product is available for inspection by PowerKeep.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT USED FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS DESIGNED OR IF ANY REPAIRS OR ALTERATIONS ARE MADE BY ANY PERSON NOT AUTHORIZED BY POWERKEEP IN WRITING.

For Light Emitting Diode (LED) Bulbs – Energy Star-rated – 3 Years
LED bulb’s warranty and product life statements are based on operating the LED lamp in environments with an ambient temperature of -25 degrees Celsius (-13 F) to a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius (113 F) and are warranted for a period of three (3) years, based on three (3) hours of use per day – unless otherwise noted on the Product’s packaging.

For Light Emitting Diode (LED) Bulbs – Products that are non-Energy Star-rated – 2 Years
LED bulb’s warranty and product life statements are based on operating the LED lamp in environments with an ambient temperature of -25 degrees Celsius (-13 F) to a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius (113 F) and are warranted for a period of two (2) years, based on three (3) hours of use per day – unless otherwise noted on the Product’s packaging.

Additional Information on Warranties for LED Replacement Bulb Products

Limited Warranty for Residential Customers: Two (2) to three (3) year Warranty based on rated life at three (3) hours use per day at 120 volts (120V). The manufacturer warrants the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of purchase when used as directed. Failure to comply with Product warnings shall void the warranty. This warranty does not cover Product subject to accident, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. If the Product fails to operate according to the warranty, the manufacturer will replace the Product with the same or similar product at no charge. Bulb replacement is PowerKeep’s sole warranty obligation and incidental and consequential damages are excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from location to location. Not intended for use with emergency exit fixtures or emergency lighting. Not intended for use with dimmers. Risk of electric shock or burns. Turn off power and let cool before inspection or replacement. Do NOT open, no serviceable parts inside. Use only on 120-volt AC circuits. Do not use if product is cracked, broken or missing, even if light continues to operate. Suitable for use in operating environments between -25 C and 45 C (-13 F and 113 F). Suitable for use in damp locations but not for use where directly exposed to weather or water. Do NOT use in totally enclosed fixtures. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
